Title Assistant Professor of Marketing

Appointment Status Tenure Track Department IU Kokomo School of Business Location Kokomo Position Summary

The School of Business invites applications for a full time, 10-month tenure track position in Marketing starting Spring/Fall 2024. The successful candidate will teach both undergraduate business core classes in marketing and graduate marketing courses in the MBA. Areas include Introduction to Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Marketing Research, and Advertising and IMC. The teaching responsibility is three courses per fall and spring semester. Preference will be given to those candidates with experience developing and teaching marketing analytics and/or logistics.

One of eight campuses of Indiana University, Indiana University Kokomo, is a comprehensive non-residential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana, a city with a population of about 57,000. Committed to student success, the campus serves approximately 3,000 students from a 14-county area in north-central Indiana. IU Kokomo has around 260 full-time faculty and staff. Basic Qualifications

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field, from an AACSB accredited institution. ABDs will be considered, but the candidates must have earned a Ph.D. within a year of the effective date of the appointment. Candidates must possess a record of excellent university-level teaching and evidence of the ability to carry on a body of research commensurate with being considered for promotion and tenure. Faculty should also be dedicated to experiential student learning and professional development, provide service to the school, university, and community.
