The Assistant Professor of Instruction in Social Work (non-tenure track) is a nine-month full-time position at the Zanesville campus.

OHIO University Zanesville seeks an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Social Work (non-tenure track). Available August 16, 2022 to teach introduction to social work, human behavior in the social environment, research and practice classes. This position is 1.0 FTE with a teaching load of 24 semester hours or equivalent per academic year as well as advising and other service to the Social Work program.

Ohio University's undergraduate Social Work program was one of the first in the country to be accredited by CSWE and has continually maintained that status. The rural-focused MSW program, which is also accredited by CSWE, is now in its twenty first year.

The Zanesville campus, part of Regional Higher Education (RHE), is one of five regional campuses and two centers serving students throughout Southeastern and portions of Central Ohio with a comprised enrollment of more than 5,000 students. Minimum Qualifications

MSW from a CSWE accredited program, and at least two years of post-MSW practice experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior college teaching experience. Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision (LISW-S) credential in Ohio or eligible for this license.
