Job Title Assistant Professor of English in Early Modern British Literature (Tenure Track)

Tenure track Assistant Professor of English in Early Modern British literature and culture. Successful candidate will teach courses in Early Modern British literature, ranging from undergraduate surveys and upper-level drama, poetry and poetics courses to topics courses for PhD students in the area of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications - Education or training

PhD in English or closely related field by August 1, 2022

Minimum Qualifications - Special licenses, registration or certification Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with expertise in one or more areas of continental literatures, comparative or transnational approaches, digital humanities, history of ideas, or decolonizing the curriculum regarding issues of empire, racial formation, gender and sexuality, or disability studies are especially encouraged to apply.

Conditions of Employment
