Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The College of Education at Belmont University is seeking applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2023.
The successful candidate will hold an earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, or a related field from a regionally accredited doctoral granting institution and will possess specialized skills enabling the candidate to effectively teach in teacher and educational leadership preparation programs. Ability to teach face to face, online, and blended learning formats is required. The candidate will have instructional experience, as well as subject matter expertise and demonstrated professional experience in teacher and instructional leadership preparation.
Job responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in face-to-face and online delivery formats and serving as a dissertation committee member for doctoral committees. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, student mentoring, scholarly activity, and college, university and community service. This role may include some program coordination activities and responsibilities as needed
