About The Position:
The School of Education, Health, and Human Services prepares students for successful entry into their profession. We focus on an ethical approach to human well-being and encourage critical thinking and practical application. The Department of Nursing offers programs that are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and well-established at the college. This tenure-track position is a unique opportunity to join a faculty who encourages educational mobility and supports a mission that emphasizes excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Duties are expected to include teaching courses such as Nursing Foundations, Health Assessment, OB, Pediatrics, and/or Care of Adults. Clinical supervision of students in a hospital and/or lab setting are also included. As an institution that delivers challenging and high-quality educational experiences to a diverse group of learners, the successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity, inclusion, and equity-minded policies, programs, and practices. The successful candidate may be asked to teach courses in a distance learning format.
