    The Department of Management and HCA at Marshall University is seeking an assistant professor for a nine-month tenure track appointment in Management with teaching responsibilities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels beginning August 2024. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Qualified candidates must possess interest and/or demonstrated ability to teach face-to-face and online modalities and demonstrate above average teaching ability and quality scholarly research.

    The Lewis College of Business is one of ten Colleges at Marshall University, an R2 Carnegie research institute in Huntington, West Virginia. The College, accredited by AACSB, is currently experiencing rapid growth in its graduate and doctoral programs and recently received a transformative $25 million gift from alumnus and Intuit Chairman and former CEO Brad D. Smith. Applicants should possess the willingness to contribute to the University's general education curriculum with its emphasis on a common First-Year Seminar and core curriculum courses that enhance students' critical thinking, and the College's support of interdisciplinary programs of study.

    Required Qualifications

    Education

    Candidates will hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Management from an AACSB accredited Business School. ABDs will also be considered but must have their Ph.D. confirmed before August 2024. Applications from all disciplines in the area of Management will be considered.
