Offer DescriptionIn addition to the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Act ("Official Gazette" No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19 and 151/22), candidates are obligated to fulfill the conditions prescribed by Article 39, paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Act on to higher education and scientific activity ("Official Gazette" No. 119/22), article 123 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, article 46 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Statute of the Faculty of Kinesiology Osijek and the Decision of the Croatian Rectors' Conference on the necessary conditions for evaluation of teaching and scientific-professional activity in the procedure of election to scientific- teaching titles (“Official Gazette” No. 122/2017 and 120/2021) and the conditions prescribed in Article 13 of the Ordinance on the Implementation of the Selection/Re-election Procedure for Titles and the Appropriate Positions of the Josip Jurj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the revised text. The above documents are published on the website of the Faculty of Kinesiology Osijek (link: https: // www. kifos.hr/ about the faculty/regulations/).
Candidates are, along with their handwritten application, required to attach documentation according to the list found on Form no. 2 - Application for a competition for selection into a scientific-teaching/artistic-teaching profession and a corresponding position, and with the application it is mandatory to attach the attachments prescribed by the form (link: https: // www. kifos.hr/ about the faculty/regulations/).
Priority employment candidates according to specific act are obliged to invoke their right in the application and enclose documentation which proves the status on which the priority employment right is based, a confirmation issued by the Croatian Employment Service in time of duration of this Call for applications which proves the status of unemployed person and proof of the manner of employment termination with the last employer. Priority in relation to other candidates can be achieved only under equal conditions. Candidates who are foreign citizens must submit proof of advanced knowledge of the Croatian language (level C2) in speech and writing according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Law on Gender Equality ("Official Gazette" No. 82/08 and 69/17), persons of both sexes may apply for the competition under equal conditions.
Only those who submit timely and complete applications and fulfil formal conditions of the public Call for applications will be considered applied candidates.
Complete application contains all data and attachments listed in this Call for applications and must be hand-signed by the candidate submitting the application. Applications submitted after deadline or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applications for the competition with proof of fulfillment of the conditions must be submitted within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of the competition in the " Official Gazette" in electronic form to the e-mail address: [email protected] with the title: For the competition - scientific and teaching position of assistant professor.
All candidates will be informed on results within fifteen (15) days at the latest from the day of completion of the Call for applications via website of the Faculty of Kinesiology Osijek (link: https: // www. kifos.hr/). Faculty of Kinesiology Osijek reserves the right to inform all applied candidates via electronic mail as well.
By applying to the Call for applications, candidates give consent that all their personal data contained in application documentation are gathered and processed for the purpose of conducting Call for applications in accordance with legislation which regulates protection of personal data, especially the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). All candidates must enclose filled out and signed Consent Form published on the website of the Faculty of Kinesiology Osijek (Consent Form is available via the link: https: // www. kifos.hr/en/about-us/tenders/). Applications will be regarded as incomplete and will be discarded without properly filled out and signed Consent Form submitted along with the application.
