The University of North Florida, Department of Public Health is seeking an assistant professor for a 9-month tenure track position in the Master of Public Health and Public Health Undergraduate Programs to start Fall 2022. Responsibilities include: teaching graduate courses in public health policy and advocacy, and public health leadership and management; teaching additional undergraduate or graduate courses in the candidate's area of expertise per program needs; conducting and publishing research in areas of expertise; seeking extramural funding; and performing university, community, and professional service.

Required Qualifications Faculty Position Required Qualifications

Doctorate in Public Health with an emphasis in public health policy and management, or closely related public health field; doctoral degree conferred no later than August 5, 2022; proven record of, or potential for, excellence in teaching; and proven record of, or potential for, extramural funding and scholarly research leading to peer-reviewed publications; commitment to university, community, and professional service.

Departmental Requirements

Preferred qualifications: Graduate degree(s) from CEPH accredited school or program of public health.
