Offer Description

The post is for a three-year period. The annual gross salary is about 45.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is Ecclesiastical and Canon Law: Requested research duties: the researcher will focus his/her research activity within the themes characterizing the scientific disciplinary field IUS/17 (Criminal Law), with particular reference to the theory of crime, punishability, including restorative justice interventions, and special part sectors subject to recent or imminent reforms, also in a comparative perspective. The activity will be carried out in compliance with the scientific research guidelines to be established by the Department. Requested teaching duties: in coherence with the annual teaching planning, the teaching activity will concern giving classes in the disciplinary area covered by the call for applications within the bachlor's degree programs, single- cycle master's degree programs and PhD programs offered at the Faculty of Law, as well as within postgraduate programs. In addition, the teaching activity may include classes in English at an advanced level related to the research activity conducted as well as frontal or equivalent teaching activities in the amount defined by the University regulations; The overall annual hours of work for research, teaching and office hours for students within the areas indicated above equal 1,500 hours per year. The teaching activities of the contract holder are defined by the Department Council when it plans the teaching program, according to the University regulations. Foreign language required: good level of English Knowledge of Italian: level adequate to carry out the assigned teaching load (the researcher is required to teach in Italian) Maximum number of publications to be presented: 12
