Offer Description

In order to be employed as an assistant professor in a group of research and didactic positions, one must hold at least a doctoral degree and scientific achievements, influencing the development of a scientific discipline represented by the staff member, which are:

- scientific articles of international scope, stored in parametric databases recognized by the relevant Ministry of higher education and science, or in the case of humanities or legal sciences, scientific articles in international or national journals, or artistic activity of great national significance or international importance, - applying as a manager in calls for scientific or artistic activities financed from external sources within the meaning of the Law, - achievements in terms of organisational activity, i.e. participation in the organisation of conferences and scientific or artistic events important for the development of discipline, - organisation or participation in various forms of international cooperation, - positive assessment of didactic activity confirmed by the Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs or having didactic competences relevant to the scientific or artistic discipline represented by the member of staff, or for the didactic policy of the University in the field of the faculties where an employee will be teaching.

In justified cases, the Rector may agree to lower the requirements, taking into account, in particular, the candidate's qualifications which have an impact on development of the represented scientific discipline and are necessary for the implementation of the research and didactic policy of the University.

In addition, candidates must meet the following conditions:

- doctoral degree in natural sciences in the discipline of chemical sciences or in agricultural sciences in the discipline of nutrition and food technology; - proven scientific record (authorship or co-authorship of scientific articles in journals from the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education; participation in conferences, scientific cooperation, etc.); - teaching competence and experience in teaching at a university in the field of food technology, microbiology; - have documented participation in externally funded research projects/tasks; - skills in laboratory research techniques used in microbiological or biotechnological or chemical or food analysis laboratories ; - linguistic competence necessary to teach in Polish and English.
