The Department of Economics and Finance at The University of Texas at El Paso
(UTEP) invites applications to fill two positions at the rank of Assistant
Professor of Finance. While candidates from all fields in finance are
encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates who can assist the
department's teaching needs in the following areas: investments, corporate
finance, and international finance. The expected starting date is fall 2022.
Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and appropriate for experience and
qualifications. Hiring decisions are subject to final budgetary approval.
Completion of the Ph.D. degree in finance from an AACSB-accredited institution
by the starting date is necessary, along with solid evidence of potential
publication success in top journals and quality instruction. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
