Position Description Summary
The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science is seeking applications for
a tenure-track assistant professor position in statistics, data science, or
actuarial science. The Department will also strongly consider applicants who
have an interest in transforming undergraduate programs to better serve
students of diverse backgrounds. Diversity is an institutional value of

Position Summary and Duties:
Successful candidates are expected to teach at both the undergraduate and
graduate levels and should have a strong potential for generating external
funding for their research program.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or
