Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Section of Complex Family Planning, is seeking an Assistant Professor to join our team. The appointee will provide comprehensive care for patients seeking abortions, contraceptive services, and miscarriage care as well as general gynecology services. They will also be responsible for clinical care and management of patients both on campus and at off-site locations. Other duties will include promoting equitable clinical care, services, and research in family planning, teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and engaging in scholarly activity. We especially welcome candidates with training and experience in family planning and complex contraception. Compensation, including a generous package of fringe benefits, is dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified individuals must: (1) have completed a fellowship in Complex Family Planning; (2) be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; and (3) have or be eligible for an active Illinois state medical license.
