The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain a professional goal to become an outstanding teacher-scholar through the use of research- based, best-practices pedagogy. The Communications Sciences & Disorders (CSD) department is part of the College of Health and Wellness Professions at St. Cloud State University. We train speech-language pathologists in our highly competitive, clinically focused CAA accredited program. We offer our students high-impact learning opportunities through our on-campus Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic, community partnerships, clinical research and much more. Our high quality, comprehensive clinical services in speech-language pathology and audiology have been a community asset for nearly seven decades. Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, degree required at time of application.
  • Possesses CCC-SLP and Minnesota licensure.
  • At least 9-months of full-time clinical experience after being awarded the CCC.
  • Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise across the life span and communication/feeding disorders.
  • Experience in academic and clinical teaching and/or practice with documented teaching effectiveness.
  • Willing to work with highly motivated students in a CAA accredited speech language pathology department; good rapport with other professionals; experience and sensitivity in dealing effectively with students, clients, and their families.
  • Familiar with the 2020 Standards and Implementation Procedures for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
