JOB SUMMARY
The School of Business at Spalding University is seeking a candidate academically qualified to teach management and management related courses for a tenure track assistant professor position. Successful candidates are passionate about teaching and supporting students, willing to contribute their interests and ideas for new and innovative courses and programs, eager to externally represent the school and its programs in the community, and have the interest and ability to engage in scholarly activities.
Salary for this position is $65,000 annually with a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical coverage, 403b, 23 Paid Time Off days, 21 Holidays, tuition remission, and much more.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D., D.B.A., Ed.D. or ABD in a business field is required with the appropriate graduate hours to meet SACSCOC guidelines for teaching in management. A doctorate in a business-related field may be considered, as long as the graduate hours for teaching management courses is met.
Previous teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
