Assistant Professor - Anesthesiology, Memphis - 21000001QK
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Department of
Anesthesiology, is seeking physician anesthesiologists for full-time academic
faculty and clinician positions. Individuals with fellowship training in:
Critical Care Medicine (CCM)
Regional Anesthesia (RA)
Chronic Pain Management (CP)
Obstetrical (OB) Anesthesia
Are strongly urged to apply. Qualified generalists are also being sought. The
patient population includes a heavy caseload in ortho, trauma, and high-risk
OB. This is a non-tenure-track position.
Duties include direct patient care as well as teaching and supervision of
residents, medical students, fellows, and nurse anesthetists. Opportunities
for clinical and basic science research are available and participation is
encouraged. Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience and
compensation is highly competitive. Eligible candidates should be board
certified or eligible for examination by the ABA and eligible for licensure in
the State of Tennessee.
