The department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering is seeking Assistant
Professor-Aerospace Engineering. The successful candidate is expected to
advance the Aerospace Engineering Program by performing world-class research
in Aerospace Engineering and by providing excellent instruction at both the
undergraduate and graduate levels.
Preference will be given to candidates who can cover fundamental courses in
the general areas of Aerospace Engineering, such as Fluids, Aerodynamics,
Aircraft Performance and Dynamics, Space Technologies, and Emerging
Technologies in Aerospace Engineering.
PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or academic equivalent.
Applicants must have earned a doctorate degree, or its professional
equivalent, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related
field by the date of appointment. It is anticipated that the appointment
will begin in August 2023.
