Assistant Professor – Chemistry & Microbiology Faculty
Nebraska Methodist College is seeking an experienced full-time faculty
position at the rank of Assistant Professor to support general education
health science student education with expertise to teach and support CHEMISTRY
and MICROBIOLOGY within the Arts & Sciences Division starting for the Fall
2022 semester. It is a 24-credit hour, 12 month position. Support for other
course offerings may be assigned in the future based on credentials and need
within the science area.
A Ph.D. in chemistry and/or microbiology or related field is preferred. Master
of Science prepared candidates with teaching and lab experience for one or
both of these courses are encouraged to apply as it is the minimum educational
requirement to teach at the bachelor level. NMC is a health-science
institution using technology to actively engage student learners. Nursing and
allied health profession programs run year-round, and a faculty teaching
appointment is commensurate with this schedule. Applicants for this position
are required to possess teaching experience in chemistry and/or microbiology
subjects and be skilled in teaching labs supporting either or both of these
