The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, announces a competition for a part-time position (0.3) of Assistant or Assistant Professor at the Department of Institute of Law and Technology – field of Legal Informatics

The Institute of Law and Technology is the most important Czech expert workplace focused on the technological context of law and legal science. It has a comprehensive scientific and pedagogical agenda in the fields of information technology law, intellectual property law, energy law and legal informatics. The Institute regularly participates in national and international project consortia, including excellent project formats, and cooperates with scientific institutions, intergovernmental organisations, the highest judicial authorities, legislative institutions and representatives of legal and corporate practice in the Czech Republic and the EU. Your job will include:

- teaching in courses focused on legal informatics and information technology law in accredited study programmes and lifelong learning programmes, including the preparation of study guides,

- scientific activities, including publications and applied research,

- participation in project activities and contractual research,

- participation in organizational and administrative support of scientific and pedagogical activities.

We require:

- Master's degree in Law from a Faculty of Law,

- Ph.D. degree (for the position of Assistant Professor),

- qualified interest in the field of legal informatics,

- prerequisites for independent pedagogical work in the field of legal informatics and information technology law in the Czech and English languages, demonstrated by experience in pedagogical work at university,

- the prerequisites for independent scientific work in the field of legal informatics and information technology law in Czech and English, demonstrated by relevant professional publications or participation in scientific projects,

- moral integrity.
