Assistant Manager (Student Affairs) (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 523214) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a good university degree with at least 5 years' work experience in the education or social services sectors, preferably in student affairs, programme and event management or communications. They should be mature, persuasive, personable, and passionate about working with university students and supporting their developmental experiences. They should have excellent communication skills, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge of event management, and demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in student engagement as staff or as student leader would be an advantage.
The appointee will work collaboratively with campus stakeholders to develop and implement student engagement initiatives. He/She will maintain communications with students via all appropriate media; organize events, projects and programmes for undergraduate students; take lead on coordinating student programmes; and provide advice to students regarding various resources available at the Faculty. He/She will be expected to exercise flexibility to perform other duties as assigned in support of the Faculty's mission, core values and goals.
