Assistant Lecturer (Functional Title : Associate Director of E-Learning Development Laboratory) in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Ref.: 527511) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess an MSc degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, IT in Education, or a closely related field, with a strong commitment to teaching and funding applications. They should have at least two years of teaching experience in Master's degree courses and a minimum of 10 years of management experience in a laboratory within a university. The position is open to all areas in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with preference given to candidates specializing in Information. They should be highly knowledgeable in e-Learning, STEM Education, IT in Education, and AI in Education, both in terms of technology and pedagogy. Applicants with a proven track record of securing funding and running projects for the Quality Education Fund (QEF), Teaching Development Grant (TDG), and organizing experiential learning will have an advantage.
The major job duty for this position will involve assisting the Director of the E-Learning Development Laboratory in managing all aspects of the laboratory, including but not limited to funding applications, budget allocation, project management, human resources, and more.
