The Department of Educational Psychology has a one-year full time contract
position at the rank of Assistant Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor
available August 2021. Primary responsibilities will include teaching courses
and supervising students in the M.A. program in School Counseling. Additional
duties include assisting the Program Director with administrative activities
for the School Counseling program and possibly teaching other classes within
the department. Candidates should be willing to teach on campus at Ball State
University as well as online.
A. Masters degree in School Counseling or a related field completed by date of
appointment from an accredited college or university.
B. Must have or obtain an Indiana School Counseling License prior to the start
of the fall semester.
Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current
authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
A. Doctorate in Counselor Education or a related field with an emphasis in
professional school counseling from an accredited institution by the date of
B. University teaching experience.
C. Experience providing field experience supervision to counselors in
D. Experience working as a professional school counselor in elementary,
middle, or high school setting.
E. Experience with the CACREP accreditation process and student learning
