RECTOR of the Jagiellonian University announces a competitive selection
process for the post of an ASSISTANT research and faculty staff member group
at the Institute of Applied Psychology of the Faculty of Management and Social
The competitive selection process is open for all individuals, who meet the
requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116.2.4) of the Act of 20 July 2018
– Law on Higher Education and Science, and who meet the following eligibility
criteria according to § 166 of the Statute of the Jagiellonian University:
1) Holding at least a Master's degree, Master of Science degree or an
2) Exhibiting aptitude for research work;
3) Being prepared for carrying out teaching work
Requirements: PhD in psychology, research interests within the domain of
social rehabilitation, forensic psychology and evolutionary psychology (in
particular the competence of applying the theory of life history to the
analysis of crime). The above interests and competences should be confirmed
by the publications on the subject in recognized journals from the MNiSW list.
The candidate should also be fluent in English.
