DESCRIPTION :

The candidate(s) applying for the position of assistant professor in the research and teaching staff group must meet the requirements set forth in Article 113 of the Law of July 20, 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2023, item 742, as amended) and in § 89 (1) (3) of the University's Statute (Appendix to Resolution No. 63 - 2022/2023 of the Senate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, dated May 29, 2023, on the adoption of the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences).

The candidate is expected to meet the following conditions:

having the master's degree, master engineer or equivalent,

ability to develop scientific and didactic interest,

a very good command of the English language, sufficient to enable independent writing of scientific publications in this language and presenting reports at scientific conferences,

ability to teach in Polish and English.

Appreciated :

finished studies in the area of statistics and econometrics,

experience in didactic work in the area of statistics, econometrics, mathematics, computer science,

experience in organizing scientific conferences and seminars,

experience in submitting research projects in calls for proposals to research funding institutions,

experience in the implementation of a domestic or an international grant,

a research internship abroad.
