About the role:

The University Hospitality department isn't just about student catering. We have 7 outlets on campus and we're expanding. As well as catering to students, we host large conferences and banquets. We are looking for Assistant Hospitality Supervisors to supervise and work as part of a team to ensure that the customer experience is optimised.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to motivate the team
  • Have excellent standards of customer service in a customer focused environment
  • Be confident providing team members with operational training
  • Have knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, as well as licencing laws
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate and form effective relationships with team members
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure, as it can be extremely busy over peak times
  • The role includes early morning, evening and weekend working on a 5 out of 7 days per week contract. We have part time positions available (14.6 hours or 21.9 hours). We are open to consider a variety of flexible work options, including part time or compressed hours, so if you are unable to work the hours advertised, but would like to explore alternative flexible options, then we would still love to hear from you.
