Assistant Finance Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Technology Transfer Office (Ref.: 520463) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a recognized university degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, and with at least 5 years' solid work experience in auditing, accounting or business analyst, preferably in the higher education sector. They should have competence in accounting software (such as Quickbook and Oracle Financials), an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and under tight schedule.
The appointee will prepare financial reports and budgets for management review; prepare funding proposals and reports for ITC, UGC and other stakeholders; oversee all the accounting- and tax-related matters; and liaise with internal and external auditors.
