Assistant Director (Student Affairs and Enrichment Programmes), MSc Programmes (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 528592) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor's degree, with at least 8 years' experience mostly in the field of student services or alumni engagement, with good understanding of event management and student enrichment activities preferably in a tertiary institution. They should also have a solid command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), sound interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking, innovative and effective organization skills in initiating and executing plans to deliver expected quality outputs under tight deadlines; and be strong team builders and outcomes-driven leaders. A professional work attitude and a high level of computer literacy are essential qualities. They should also have a passion for working with students and alumni from all backgrounds and cultures.
The appointee will be responsible for overseeing and developing a diverse range of enrichment programmes including orientations, student ambassadors programmes, student clubs associations, overseas field trips and activities that support students' whole person development and professional development that enhance the overall student experience of the masters students. He/She will also be responsible for financial planning and control of the MSc Alumni and Student Services team; supervising clerical staff; and performing any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and/or travel outside Hong Kong occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
