Salary Information Department Summary

UNT competes as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Conference USA. North Texas' athletic programs are classified as NCAA Division I, the largest and highest division among all colleges and universities. The 46,000 square-foot Athletic Center located off South Bonnie Brae Street is the centerpiece of North Texas athletics. Athletics strives to conduct a competitive athletics program that promotes faculty, staff, student and community affiliation and participation with the North Texas Athletics. Provide facilities which attract the highest level of talent and allow student-athletes to perform at the highest level in practice and during competition.

Position Overview

To assist in shooting, ingesting, and editing video for coaching staff review. This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Football Video Services in all day-to-day operations of the Football Coaches Video Department. This position assists in managing the Catapult video network, and assists in the oversight of student employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in in related field and two years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Three years of experience using Catapult Thunder or DV Sport. One year of professional experience using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or Avid. Prefer demonstration of highlight videos and/or film breakdown.

Required License / Registration / Certification Work Schedule

M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm with occasional early morning, evenings and weekends.

Job Duties

o

Shooting and editing practices and games video.

o

Manage the Catapult Thunder and Catapult ThunderCloud network, used by the coaching staff.

o

Maintaining and repairing all camera and computer equipment.

o

Setting up and overseeing meeting rooms and spaces where film is watched. Including the Athletic Center, and at team hotel when traveling.

o

Assisting with video exchange.

o

Assisting with supervision of student video staff.
