Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
Responsible for Pell and Loan Reconciliation, as well as the processing unit within the financial aid office. Supervises and trains staff on federal and state regulations. Oversees the front counter to ensure all emails and voicemails are answered and that all three campus locations are staffed. Resolves conflicts with students and/or parents and is one of the leads for any SIS student system implementation. Assists with the grant process, researching and investigating information, participating in meetings, conferences and team activities, working with other departments and managers and providing information. Other duties include editing materials, composing, screening and responding to correspondence, and participating in staff selection process. Coordinates and monitors the Federal Return of Title IV Funds process to ensure compliance with requirements for students who completely withdraw during the semester or complete the semester with all non- passing grades.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proficient in all Microsoft Applications
Knowledgeable about all current and upcoming federal and state regulations
Knowledge of FA counseling, verification, rules, and regulations
Strong analytical abilities and produces detailed-oriented work with accuracy
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Directly related financial aid experience.
