POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Dean of LITS, this position is directly
responsible for managing Asbury Global platform initiatives related to
technology and software implementation to enhance the student experience and
leveraging of informational resources. Must be able to work collaboratively
between Formation, Academics, Enrollment Management, and Library Information,
Technology Services (LITS) to achieve necessary outcomes. This position
reports directly to the Dean of LITS with the expectation that this position
represents and interacts often with Asbury Global leadership to include
departmental meetings, trainings, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide leadership for Asbury Global initiatives in alignment with the
established vision, mission, goals, and culture of the institution
Work to maximize software capabilities and end-user experience for Asbury
Global initiatives
Design and develop infrastructure and application strategy for Asbury
Global software in collaboration with LITS
Collaborate with employees, EMT, Formation, and Academics including Asbury
Global faculty to maximize ERP, CRM, LMS and other software to enhance
data integration, reporting, and student experience. Identify
opportunities and initiate solutions for Asbury Global to build strategic
relationships between LITS and other departments and process areas.
Coordinates training for employees in Formation, EMT, and Academics so
that multiple users can utilize software as needed.
Ability to work effectively both independently and cooperatively as a
member of the Asbury Global leadership team. Attends Asbury Global
leadership meetings (when appropriate) to ensure cross-systems
collaboration.
Exhibit professionalism and integrity through excellent verbal and written
communication skills
Ability to lead cross-systems collaborations that facilitate change and
promote action related to Asbury Global/institutional technology
Identify and accurately document Asbury Global student needs vis-à-vis
various stakeholders
Plan and conduct Asbury Global student research and analysis and apply
results in proposed solutions. Plan and conduct usability testing to
evaluate the success of implementations with respect to Asbury Global
student experience.
Works collaboratively with the Director of IEA and the Student Assessment,
Research, and Analysis Specialist in creating dashboards to make data-
driven decisions related to set goals and objectives
Prepare and validate process models for existing Asbury Global practices.
Work with Asbury Global process owners to assist in the resolution of
process issues by identifying and determining future software needs
related Asbury Global student experience.
In collaboration with Technical Support Services and/or Administrative
Technology, support selected software systems with Asbury Global student
experience and efficiency in mind (CRM, ERP, Course Scheduling Software,
LMS, Assessment software, etc.)
Provides information to Asbury Global faculty regarding LITS resources and
training, particularly in Instructional Design, Library Resources, and
Academic Productions.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represents the Seminary at selected on-campus and off-campus events
Participates in various committee assignments and other duties
Remains current on educational technology and best-practices

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in relevant field preferred or UX Design Certification
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with user experience
management.
Proven ability to design flow or site organization in a complex
environment
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple users and subject matter
expertise to deliver user-centric systems
Experience in Campus Management, Blackbaud, Slate, and/or scheduling
software is a plus
Ability to travel as needed for Seminary purposes, to operate a motor
vehicle legally, to lift up to 35 pounds

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Works in collaboration with Admissions, Registrar, Student Services,
Student Success, and Financial Aid Directors as part of the Enrollment
Management and Student Services Team
Works closely with LITS to ensure cross-systems collaboration and support
Works closely with Formation and Academics to enhance the GL platform and
student experience
In partnership with EMT, Formation, and Academics, annually develop
specific Key Performance Indicators for the year.
