Responsibilities
The prosthodontic dentistry faculty member will serve in the Department of Restorative and Clinical Sciences. Core responsibilities will include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction and curriculum development; mentoring pre-doctoral students; and participation in college, university, and community service. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for prosthodontics and dental education. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to contribute to and participate in a humanistic and inclusive environment of learning and discovery. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Interviews of qualified candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent, have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in prosthodontics and be eligible for or Board Certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics. The candidate must be licensed, or be eligible for a full/faculty license in Maine and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE.
