Primary Purpose and Essential Functions
The mission of the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (the School) is to prepare students for lifelong success in health careers by providing an excellent, student-centered learning environment. These efforts are assisted by linkages across the University of the Pacific (the University) professional and liberal arts programs. The Assistant Clinical Professor position is a part-time, non-tenure-track appointment at the University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy. The faculty serves as a member of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and the Regional Coordinator of Redding, in California. The responsibilities of the faculty are to teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, supervise senior Pharm.D. students during their experiential rotations, teach didactic and experiential courses, facilitate interprofessional education, schedule rotation sites for students assigned to their region, advise students, provide clinical or professional expertise to the host institution, develop new sites or rotations, and provide orientation, support and preceptor development to volunteer and adjunct faculty.

Physical Requirements
Travel to various clinical sites in the Redding area is required. Occasional travel to Stockton campus for meetings and collaboration.
