The Athletics Department at Bryant University invites applications for an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Bryant University is an NCAA Division I program, sponsoring 25 varsity sports, and is a member of the America East Athletic Conference.
This position reports to the Head Athletic Trainer and is accountable to assist in the athletic training program for the University's 25 Division 1 sports programs, through ensuring student-athletes receive timely and effective treatment for injuries. The Assistant Athletic Trainer also monitors and follows up on physicals, health records, conditioning and rehabilitation records, and helps train student assistants in service delivery.
This is full-time, 11 month position, with excellent benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $36,000 – $40,000 annually.

Qualifications
This position is filled best filled by an individual with an undergraduate degree in a related field, National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA) certification, and two years of collegiate or professional athletic training experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with student athletes, athletics staff, members of the medical community and others. Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to direct and supervise others are important to help oversee athletic training room operations and supervise student assistants.
Requires the ability to lift 70 lbs. Rhode Island State Licensure is also required. Travel is required, as are evening and weekend hours. A valid driver's license is required.
