Indiana University School of Dentistry's Division of Pre-doctoral Pediatric Dentistry in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry invites applications for a full-time 12-month Tenure track Assistant/Associate professor teaching position.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong leadership and team-building skills, and experience with and enthusiasm for working with predoctoral students in outpatient clinics. This capacity will support the department as it broadens utilization of both humanistic pedagogy and interprofessional education in student teaching and, through engagement with the community, while providing high quality dental care to children.
Major teaching responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction for pre-doctoral students, student counseling and mentoring, involvement with pre- doctoral curricular reform activities and support of evidence based learning and clinical care in addition, the candidate will have opportunities to work with the residents of the postgraduate program in pediatric dentistry. Expectations include engagement in curricular reform activities including innovations in didactic and clinical teaching, Research to support promotion and service at the department, school, and university levels. Opportunities for extramural dental private practice are available.

Basic Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree; be eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana; and have graduated from a specialty program in pediatric dentistry.

Additional Qualifications
Certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry if possible, but not required.
