The Department of Radiation Oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine has an opening for a Physicist position in downtown Indianapolis. This is a full-time position and will cover clinics in Indianapolis and surrounding communities. IU's Radiation Oncology faculty includes 13 clinical physicists, 14 radiation oncologists and 3 full-time researchers. Educational programs include a residency program and a radiation therapy B.S. degree program. Join a collaborative and supportive team! This is a full-time tenure track faculty position in radiation therapy physics.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate or Terminal degree is required. Minimum of a Master's degree in medical physics is required. The position reports to the Director of Medical Physics. Opportunities for involvement in clinical research and clinical trials are also available. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Must be qualified to practice as a Physicist in Radiation Oncology and be certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or have completed/currently completing a medical physics residency
