Basin invites applications and nominations for a faculty member in the
Department of Management, Marketing, and Industrial Technology with
anticipated appointment beginning in Fall 2022. The successful nominee will
join a dedicated faculty in preparing students for the challenges of their
professional lives. Individuals desiring to conduct research related to
industries in West Texas will have opportunities to engage with them. Growth
in demand for expanded undergraduate and graduate programs has created the
following opportunity for a committed colleague:
Faculty members are expected to teach on campus as well as online and engage
in scholarly research, and service. Advising and assessment responsibilities
are part of ongoing faculty evaluation, in addition to teaching, research, and

Located in the West Texas metropolitan area of Odessa-Midland, UT Permian
Basin is an affiliate of The University of Texas System and a designated
Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) enrolling more than 6,400 students, with
approximately 1,900 in the College of Business. The College of Business
(https:// www. utpb.edu/business) has AACSB-Business accredited programs in six
undergraduate majors (including recently added programs in Energy Land
Management and Healthcare Management), Master of Business Administration, and
Master of Professional Accountancy.

1. Doctorate (ABD considered) in Healthcare Administration or Healthcare
Management with an AACSB-accredited MBA/Graduate Business Degree, or
2. Doctorate (ABD considered) from an AACSB-accredited program with an
emphasis on Healthcare Management, or
3. Scholarly Academic (SA) faculty from an AACSB program with a healthcare
4. A record or indication of the potential for relevant scholarly
5. A record of quality teaching in business courses.
