The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California
(USC) and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of
Orthopaedic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine and the Division of
Orthopaedic Surgery at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, are actively seeking a
full-time faculty member for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor
of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery.
The Children's Orthopaedic Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles is
seeking a pediatric spinal deformity surgeon to join 13 other full-time
faculty members. A fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics or spine is required.
The primary responsibility of this individual would be for the orthopaedic
care of children and adolescents with spine conditions, but would also include
management of other pediatric orthopaedic patients, including trauma patients.
This position includes a faculty appointment in the Department of Orthopaedics
at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California.
Participation in teaching of medical students orthopaedic residents, and
pediatric orthopaedic fellows, as well as clinical research, is expected. A

Applicants must have completed an accredited orthopedic surgery residency
program, pediatric fellowship, and must be or board-certified or board-
eligible. A valid California medical license and a California fluoroscopy
license are required prior to commencing work.
The primary practice location is at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA),
though travel to local satellite locations may be required. CHLA is the
largest and most comprehensive pediatric hospital in the Los Angeles area, and
is the only freestanding pediatric hospital in Los Angeles with a Level I
pediatric trauma center. The Children's Orthopaedic Center also features the
renowned John C. Wilson, Jr. Motion Analysis Laboratory, a source of
outstanding clinical care and research.
Academic appointment through USC Keck School of Medicine is available at a
