Job Description

This tenure track Professor position will teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Management, is expected to contribute expertise to student advising and is also expected to seek and acquire external funding and contracts for relevant research projects, and participate in department, college, university, community and professional service activities. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester, however, tenure-track faculty may receive a reduced teaching load of 9 credit hours in exchange for research work leading to publications. Candidates being considered at the Associate Professor rank must be tenure-eligible at the time of appointment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaches Management courses especially in Human Resources, Strategic Management and Leadership at both undergraduate and Graduate level in Face-to-Face and Online mode.

  • Commits to high quality academic research leading to peer reviewed journal publications, proceedings and conference presentations.

  • Engages in academic advising for students. Serves on various College, Department and University committees and task forces as assigned.

  • Required Education & Experience:

    Assistant Professor Rank:

  • Doctorate degree in Management or related area from an accredited university.

  • Candidate that are ABD in Management at an advanced stage of dissertation may also be considered.

  • Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Human Resources, Strategic Management and Leadership.

  • Entrepreneurship may be another desirable area for teaching and research.

  • Commitment to academic research is required.

  • Associate Professor Rank:

  • Doctorate degree in Management or related area from an accredited University.

  • Five or more years of teaching experience at a graduate and undergraduate level at a four year University.

  • Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Human Resources, Strategic Management and Leadership.

  • Entrepreneurship may be another desirable area for teaching and research.

  • Established track record of quality research publications in peer reviewed journals.
