The College of St. Scholastica seeks applications for a faculty position in the Department of Graduate Nursing. This is a full-time 11-month position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications. Qualified candidates will teach DNP students through the lens of the Benedictine Values. The Doctor of Nursing Practice degree is offered as a post-master's option for current APRN's, and nurses with a master's degree in nursing or a related field, and a BS to DNP option for baccalaureate- prepared registered nurses to also earn an APRN concentration. The School of Nursing programs respond to the health care needs of both rural and urban areas, especially underserved populations, and residents with mental health needs. This position is a remote teaching position with occasional trips to the Duluth campus for Saints Institute (annual each September), professional development and/or working retreats.

Job Type Full-Time Indicate specific days and hours to be worked. Key Results/Responsibilities

The Assistant or Associate Professor of Nursing will teach, mentor, and provide program and project advisement to DNP students; work collaboratively with nursing colleagues and colleagues from other disciplines; maintain active involvement in state and national professional organizations; collaborate with Graduate Nursing faculty to participate in fostering a culture of inclusion in support of College diversity; and perform scholarly activity including teaching, revision and development of courses as well as service including duties on College committees.

Required Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Nursing, PhD or DNP; eligibility for RN license in Minnesota; and demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills, multicultural competency and experience interacting effectively with diverse students, faculty and staff. Previous online teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Eligibility for APRN licensure in Wisconsin and Minnesota
