The Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics is seeking candidates in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. This is a full-time faculty position at the Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor level on the tenure track. Responsibilities include: Teach, train and mentor medical students, pediatric residents and critical care fellows; Provide direct patient care of critically ill and/or injured children in the pediatric intensive care units at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health and IU Health North Hospital; Sedation services; Participate in section and departmental conferences and national/regional association meetings; Research in areas of interest. Procedures include: Intubation and management of ventilator; Central line placement; ECMO; Deep sedation. Additionally, the ideal candidate would have superb interpersonal, communication, professional, and organizational skills.
The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at IU School of Medicine, is an integral part of Indiana's only quaternary care pediatric hospital, Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. The highly trained sub-specialists intensivists in this pediatrics specialty team are prepared to intervene at the most critical moment of a family's life journey, when their child's life hangs in the balance. Patients from across the state of Indiana are transported here for interventions, procedures, and treatment that other hospitals are not equipped to perform. The Children's Hospital Association names Riley Hospital as having one of the highest acuity patient mixes in the United States.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate or Terminal degree is required. Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine with the American Board of Pediatrics.
