The University of North Carolina School of Law invites applications for a
full-time faculty position to direct its Intellectual Property Clinic. The
position may be tenured, tenure-track, or a fixed-term contract, depending on
the candidate's preferences and qualifications.
UNC School of Law's Intellectual Property Clinic assists entrepreneurs, small
businesses and for-profit and non-profit startups with the protection,
acquisition, and management of intellectual property rights, primarily in the
areas of trademark and copyright. It is one of ten live client clinics at UNC
School of Law and one of three (along with Startup NC Law Clinic and the
Community Development Law Clinic) housed within the UNC School of Law
Institute for Innovation. The Institute's mission is to provide one-stop
shopping for the legal needs of North Carolina for-profit and non-profit
Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
