The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist to fill an immediate opening for a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Full Clinical Professor position. This role would involve approximately 75% clinical activities commensurate with the candidate's interests, in addition to 25% effort overseeing our departmental education programs as Vice Chair for Education. The Vice Chair for Education is a key member of the departmental leadership team.
Duties and responsibilities of the role include the following:
· Oversee program directors and clerkship directors to ensure that all educational programs meet or exceed applicable compliance policies and standards.
· Monitor educational metrics for the department and work with programs to develop and implement improvement plans when needed.
· Advocate for the needs of the educational mission both internally and externally.
· Promote faculty development as it relates to teaching and education.
· Create a positive environment for educational creativity and innovation.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate or Terminal Degree Required. GME experience required.
