We wish to appoint an Assessment Administrator who will contribute to the operational aspects of the School's marks processing and teaching timetable planning.

About the role

The post-holder will act as secretary to a number of Board of Examiners and related meetings as well as contributing to the maintenance of good relations between the School and its External Examiners. Due to the scheduling of Board of Examiner meetings, some flexibility towards hours of work during key weeks in the academic year would be welcomed.

Core skills include:

  • the ability to analyse complex data into meaningful reports
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • high levels of personal organisation, flexibility and adaptability
  • You will also need the capability to build and maintain effective professional relationships and have the tact and diplomacy to deal with academic staff.

    The assessment environment is busy and constantly evolving, so you will need to be flexible to cope with changing work priorities. The Assessment team is small and requires team members to support each other, so experience of working in small teams and a “can do” approach to problem solving is essential.
