  • This research will be carried in collaboration with Humanitas Research Hospital and aims to automate the Total Marrow (Lymph-node) Irradiation (TMI/TMLI) planning in patients undergoing conditioning for bone marrow transplantation (BMT). Deep Learning (DL) models will be trained for optimizing TMI/TMLI by Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) and for reducing the time between the simulation and the delivery. Both CT and MRI images will be employed to train the models, in order to assess also the benefit of MRI in target delineation.
