About the Role
This role is in the Student Experience professional service unit that manages the delivery of the university's apprenticeship offering.
You will join our established and supportive Apprenticeships Office. This role is responsible for ensuring programme and onboarding actions taken are timely, accurate and reflected in agreed evidence pack documentation that are compliant with statutory, funding regulation and University requirements. This includes working with School and Professional Services staff to help develop apprenticeship programmes, specifying compliance requirements that will be invested into Initial Assessment and Training Plans.
About You
This opportunity would suit an experienced and self-motivated Administrator, someone who can make an immediate impact in the team. You will be highly customer focused, with excellent interpersonal skills offering support to our employers and their applicants to our apprenticeship programmes. Excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and work to and meet tight deadlines is essential.
In addition, the post holder will have good IT Skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel. We are looking for an adaptable team member who on occasions can work on own initiative, unsupervised and a strong work ethic.
Previous experience of working within the apprenticeship sector and an understanding of higher education administration are desirable although not essential.

The Apprenticeships Office is a high-profile team within the University that virtually draws together a wide number of our academic, learner support, administrative and marketing colleagues to provide a single, highly professional, consistent, and reliable contact point between employers, learners, assessment providers and regulators. The Apprenticeships Office is very active in promoting Cranfield apprenticeships directly to employers and employer umbrella bodies, briefing academic colleagues about current opportunities and best practice such as potential areas of interest and any changes to regulatory or business requirements.
The Apprenticeships Office is also responsible for collating the learner data required by IfATE (Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education), Education and Skills Funding Agency (EFSA) and others as a provider of apprenticeships.
