The College
The College of Nursing Midwifery and Healthcare's approach to teaching and learning is student-centered and employability-focused, making use of an innovative curriculum and simulation. The Role
The Apprenticeship Support Link Tutor (ASLT) will support apprentices on the nursing associate and nurse apprenticeship degree course whilst they are in practice. This will include liaising with their practice assessor, practice supervisors and employers.
Key areas of responsibility
In addition to the above areas of responsibility the post-holder maybe required to undertake any other reasonable duties relating to the broad scope of the position, commensurate with the post, and in support of the University.
The Person
The successful applicant will have a degree in Nursing or healthcare and be registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse. In addition the individual will have excellent interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills with resilience to manage conflicting demands and tight time scales.
The person will need have IT skills in use of MS Word, Excel. PowerPoint and digital communication and be able to produce high quality written and verbal reports.
