The PhD includes in the college of expert teachers whose skills are closely connected with its aims. The aim of the PhD program is to enhance the perspectives opened up by continuous progress in the field of molecular and cellular biology of neurons, neurophysiopathology, cognitive and social neuroscience, the study of disease models from both an anatomic-functional and molecular point of view, of functional neuroimaging methods, of regenerative and rehabilitative medicine, of neurophysiology and of neuro-pharmacology and neuro-biology concerning the molecular and cellular, physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms of the plastic and adaptive processes of the nervous system and their effects on development knowledge and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
