Position Summary
At Stony Brook Medicine, a Lead Programmer Analyst is a valuable member of our team, who provides technical guidance and professional administrative support to program managers, department heads or administrative officers, faculty, support staff and to the University.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior troubleshooting skills and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence.
Duties of a Lead Programmer Analyst in the Clinical Information Systems Department may include the following but are not limited to:
· Keep management informed of project status.
· Participate in new projects when appropriate.
· Maintain stability and reliability of all systems.
· Adhere to coding guidelines and standards of Information Technology.
· Maintain timely and up-to-date project tracking and AHD.
· Adhere to customer service standards.
· Ensure the addition of new applications are technically sound.
· Reviews, analyzes and implements change/enhancement request to production applications.
· Investigates and helps resolve application problems.
· Assists in testing system functionality as well as validating application integrity.
· All other duties as assign.

Posting Overview : This position will remain posted until filled or for a maximum of 90 days. An initial review of all applicants will occur two weeks from the posting date.
