(HEO7) $91,187 to $101,987 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term, full-time opportunity available immediately for three years.

Opportunity to be responsible for providing high quality services to key stakeholders across the university.

The Application Specialist is a key role in the functional design, maintenance and support of products and related interfaces including providing expert advice on system requirements, resolution of system and data issues, monitoring of processes and procedures, system configuration, testing, and development and maintenance of system documentation.

The Information Technology and Digital Services Branch is a part of the University's Division of University Operations, which provides enabling services and resource capabilities to support the University's teaching and research objectives and activities. ITDS provides services and support to the University of Adelaide community of over 25,000 students and 3500 staff members.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing functional support including process and data management, system configuration, and data analysis, testing and validation for the management of payroll, employment records and absence management records using the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) platform or equivalent HR systems.
  • Demonstrated experience analysing and documenting existing business processes, and designing improvements for effective system solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationship and influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed written, oral and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to provide high-level of customer service focus.
  • Experience with the Higher Education sector would be an advantage.
