COMPETITION

For the Election of Dean of the College of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar

The Dean may be an elected a teacher in a scientific-teaching title or a teacher in the teaching title of a college professor or senior lecturer, and is elected and dismissed by the Governing Board with a mandate in the manner and in the procedure established by the Law and the Statute of the College of Applied Sciences "Lavoslav Ružička" in Vukovar.

The Dean of the College of Applied Sciences "Lavoslav Ružička" in Vukovar is elected for a period of four years. The election procedure is prescribed by articles 33, 34, 35, and 36 of the Statute of the College of Applied Sciences "Lavoslav Ružička" in Vukovar.

All citizens of the Republic of Croatia and citizens of the Member States of the European Union for whom there are no temporary barriers to employment have the right to apply.

The competition can be entered by, under equal conditions, persons of both sexes.

The elected dean concludes a fixed-term employment contract with the College for the position of the Ist type.

Candidates are required to enclose the following documentation with the application:

CV

a decision on election to the appropriate scientific-teaching or teaching title,

work program for a four-year term

written consent to publish the CV of the candidate on the website of the College

proof of knowledge of the C2 level of the Croatian language for persons who are not citizens of the Republic of Croatia

Applications for the competition shall be sent by registered mail within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, to the following address: COLLEGE OF APPLIED SCIENCES "LAVOSLAV RUŽIČKA" IN VUKOVAR , 32000 VUKOVAR, ŽUPANIJSKA 50, with an indication “FOR THE COMPETITION FOR DEAN – DO NOT OPEN” or personal delivery to that same address. Documentation is delivered in PDF format on a CD or USB stick.

Candidates are required to submit documentation in the Croatian language. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered

The first day of the competition shall be the first day following the publication of the competition in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia – Narodne novine.

Candidates who invoke the right to priority in employment according to special regulations, are obliged to refer to this right in the application for the competition and attach all the necessary evidence.

Applicants who invoke the right to priority in employment according to the Law on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families should submit evidence from the said law, which is also available at the link: https: // branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

The deadline for notifying the candidates of the election may not be longer than forty-five (45) days from the date of expiry of the deadline for submission of applications.

The competition for the Dean will be published in the Official Gazette, the daily newspaper, on the website of the College of Applied Sciences "Lavoslav Ružička" in Vukovar ,and on the official internet portal for European Research Area jobs.
